Binary package hint: apt
In /usr/share/doc/apt/examples/sources.list the example contains a
example sources.list for dapper. This wouldn't be too bad if it weren't
for the fact that when you double click on it, it opens it with the
'software_sources' package and asks you whether you want to add them to
your sources.list. This may not be that handy for beginning users, so it
may be good to have that file generated during installation depending on
which release of Ubuntu is being run, ie on feisty have a feisty
sources.list and on dapper a dapper one.
