It's fixed when using the linux- image-3.7.0-030700-generic_3.7.0-030700.201212102335_amd64.deb package. Unfortunately, this new kernel breaks Unity because I'm using the proprietary graphics driver for my Nvidia GeForce GTX 580. :( However, installing the linux-image, linux-headers, and linux-image-extras packages did, in fact, fix my networking problem.
