This regression was introduced in http://bazaar.launchpad.net /~indicator-applet-developers/indicator- datetime/trunk.13.10/revision/229, which removed the --enable- localinstall option and made this change to src/Makefile.am:
> - ccpaneldir = $(CCPANELDIR) > + ccpaneldir = $(libdir)/control-center-1/panels/ We could fix this by reverting r229, but that would reintroduce the installs-files-outside-of-$(prefix) behavior that r229 fixed. A better fix, if possible, would be for debian/ to set libdir s.t. our G-c-c panel is installed alongside all the other panels.
