This is not a bug and it works as designed (but I recon it's confusing and not easy to discover).
The 'default view' is the view of home with empty search string (aka surfacing mode) and this key dictates what scopes should be queried in this mode. Whilst in the default view, user can *modify* it be selecting/deselecting filters to personalize it. The change becomes permanent (stored in dconf) as long as search string is empty. Note that not every scopes (actually, very few of them at the moment) surface any data for empty queries. ** Changed in: unity-scope-home Status: New => Invalid ** Changed in: unity (Ubuntu) Status: Confirmed => Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1189060 Title: Dash: com.canonical.Unity.Lenses 'home-lens-default-view', scope id's that are listed should remain enabled once a search is started To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/unity-scope-home/+bug/1189060/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
