I have Thunderbird 24.0 and Enigmail 1.5.2-0ubuntu0.13.04.1 (I am using 64-bit system), but Thunderbird disabled Enigmail.
So this fix is not working. Sorry guys, encryption support is very important since Snowden disclosures, but unfortunately it seems Ubuntu just don't care enough. And this is not the only example. For instance, it took a lot of time to fix the bug regarding encryption and decryption of files (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/seahorse- nautilus/+bug/1168685), and it is still not finally fixed yet.
