I looked again and saw that in theory if the card advertises ISD- Terrestial, it should identify itself als DVB-T if asked via api v3.
If the card itself thinks it is IDS Cable or does not even know what it is, the following will show up: dtv_property_cache_sync: doesn't know how to handle a DVBv3 call to delivery system 0 where the 0 means UNKNOWN to understand if your problem is driver related (it might be that a module parameter helps) or if there is a regression somewhere, could you send me a dmesg (full, not only this dtv_... since I need to know what modules are loaded when you plug the usb reciever) and the output of kaffeine if you start it from a terminal (where it should also claim it does not know the "delivery system"). -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to kaffeine in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1241842 Title: scanning with dvb s/s2 card broken To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/kaffeine/+bug/1241842/+subscriptions -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list kubuntu-b...@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs
