I started Kaffeine from a terminal, and I got the following logs when I tried
to scan channels.
Kaffeine output:
kaffeine(4116) DvbLinuxDevice::tune: ioctl FE_SET_FRONTEND failed for frontend
"/dev/dvb/adapter0/frontend0"
kaffeine(4116) DvbLinuxDevice::tune: ioctl FE_SET_FRONTEND failed for frontend
"/dev/dvb/adapter0/frontend0"
kaffeine(4116) DvbLinuxDevice::tune: ioctl FE_SET_FRONTEND failed for frontend
"/dev/dvb/adapter0/frontend0"
kaffeine(4116) DvbLinuxDevice::tune: ioctl FE_SET_FRONTEND failed for frontend
"/dev/dvb/adapter0/frontend0"

And also for each message that I received on the terminal, I got one of this on
syslog:
usb 2-1.3: dtv_property_cache_sync: doesn't know how to handle a DVBv3 call to
delivery system 0

If you need something else, let me know. I will be happy to assist you.
