DavidBaucum: This is actually more of a support issue than a bug report. You may get a quicker/better response posting your query over on http://answers.launchpad.net/ . A very brief glance at that Xorg.0.log suggests that your NVIDIA binary driver kernel module is not being (or could not be) loaded and that is why Xorg failed to start. While this information alone won't help you fix your issue it is a starting point (there are many reasons why the binary module will not load). Generally speaking it is easiest to use restricted-manager to enable the binary drivers (as mentioned on https://help.ubuntu.com/community/BinaryDriverHowto/Nvidia ) but I'm guessing you already have your reasons for not using it...
