Well, I'm not sure what you mean. mythfrontend runs fine -except- when I enable desktop effects and I start mythfrontend. If I set desktop effects to 'no effects' mythfrontend works perfectly. All other applications work fine regardless of effects being enabled or disabled. Does this answer your question?
