Hello there ! I also have the same problem with my Asus UX303LA - Ubuntu 14.04 and it seems that Mathis and Ivo's solution is working. However, i'm totally a beginner concerning Ubuntu so i don't really understand the steps to do in order to install the focaltech touchpad. Is it possible for you to make a tutorial on how to create the kernel ?
