Anyway Jimmy, if you go to the url https://mega.co.nz/#F!B4YlWTLJ!A6Gu8gyRNVg6fGhUx041tw then download and install the deb files, and reboot, you'll get the new kernel with the focaltech driver. Although if you're a beginner I'd suggest you wait a bit so that maybe someone does a backport to the normal ubuntu kernel, as this one is not supported at all.
