You miss the point... if we were to work around it on our end it wouldn't be a matter of having a new nvidia driver package, with as much as we can do it has *nothing* to do with the nvidia driver (As said, with as much as we can do, it is a nvidia problem) The only multi package solution would to have xserver-xorg-mobile or something and the mainline not having the patch. Which is only a shortterm fix, as this patch is now upstream.
