I am from the Wine Staging development team. As already explained in
comment #6, the problem is that webkit is used, which always loads all
plugins on startup (yes, also linux flash, mono, ....). The only
difference is that pipelight/wine spams a lot of debug output.

An easy workaround in case of Pipelight is to enable the plugins only
for specific applications (by manually specifying MOZ_PLUGIN_PATH when
starting the browser) and disable it system-wide, but its obviously just
an ugly hack. The preferred solution would be when applications running
with root rights don't load plugins at all by default, but I am not sure
if there is a way to do that with webkit.
