I've installed from the unity8-preview-lxc PPA. There is a problem at the end of sudo unity8-lxc-setup --rebuild-all --redownload Sorry for the french log ... it repeats ..... dpkg : avertissement : requête ignorée : suppression de ubuntu-standard, qui n'est pas installédpkg: systemd-sysv : problème de dépendance, mais suppression comme demandé : init dépend de systemd-sysv | upstart-sysv ; cependant : Le paquet systemd-sysv doit être supprimé. Le paquet upstart-sysv n'est pas installé. Suppression de systemd-sysv (219-10ubuntu1) ... I've found your workaround about this problem with an Italian installation : https://bugs.launchpad.net/unity8-preview-lxc/+bug/1455733/comments/5 Then I ran the sudo ... --update-lxc without problem BUT when I open a new session on an test user account (CTRL+F8) I have exactly the problem described here : https://bugs.launchpad.net/unity8-preview-lxc/+bug/1437900 After a long black screen I'm stuck on a lightdm screen without the password field but the unity system icons are actives.
