Public bug reported: Ubuntu is supposed to be community driven and user friendly but one of the most regularly needed things I cannot do easily. To add a PPA you have to mess around with 25 different steps. 3)What I expect is a one click 'add PPA to Ubuntu' from any website. Since this is possible with a copy-to-clipboard coding in a website like www.bit.ly, it should be possible to visit any website with a PPA and simply click a button that says 'Add PPA' or "+PPA" and then it automatically ends up as a source and able to be installed shortly after that. 4)What happened: I had to do a crazy number of advanced steps!
