The plugin hasn't changed substantially between releases. (The upstream author is MIA.) There may be some more love in Hardy as NM 0.7 may be out by then. There is also another MOTU who is interested in working on this package post-Gutsy. However, I've not yet seen any hard, duplicable evidence, that this is actually a bug.
