Public bug reported: System: Lenovo E50-80 with Ubuntu 15.10. Tested with both kernel 4.2.0-22-generic from official repos and 4.4.0-040400rc6-generic from Mainline Kernel repo.

When I mute one channel, it works (this is not a good workaround since some application, such as Facebook Messenger, unmute both channels and set them to the same level automatically). Adding model=inv-dmic to snd-hda-intel module options does not change a thing.
