Hi everyone

I do my best to progress

Sorry Jo, I did not read correctly your post. you were asking for the
latest v4.6 kernel and I returned 3.14.4 (which is what I understood by
UPstream).

Anyway, this morning
- I've run the latest live-key version w/ update & upgrade, in order to start
on a clean version w/o modifications from various trials
- I've downloaded and installed
linux-headers-4.6.0-040600rc2-generic_4.6.0-040600rc2.201604031130_amd64
(tried but failed)

BUT I faced the same problem

dpkg: dependency problems prevent configuration of
linux-headers-4.6.0-040600rc2-generic:
linux-headers-4.6.0-040600rc2-generic depends on linux-headers-4.6.0-040600rc2;
however: Package linux-headers-4.6.0-040600rc2 is not installed

I'm stuck to this dependency issue. I read your link carefully but did not find
any clue ??!!
How can I get through?

FYI, I join the present uname -a (where the bug is still "active" : NO
WIFI)

ubuntu@ubuntu:~$ uname -a
Linux ubuntu 4.4.0-16-generic #32-Ubuntu SMP Thu Mar 24 22:38:01 UTC 2016
x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

Thx for your help
