I think the new behavior to treat the Trash different from any other nautilus window(s) does make sense.
In addition, treating each removable media likewise (with appropriate "removable media icon" displayed on the Launcher" might also make sense (unless opened from within an existing window). However, opening a new window for any folder in any part of the fixed disk(s) although there's already a window open (although minimized) is too much IMHO, and I'm in favor of regarding this behavior as a bug. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1170647 Title: After minimizing a Nautilus window of another partition or external media or Trash folder, clicking on the "Files" icon on the Launcher again doesn't restore the minimized window, but opens a new one To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/hundredpapercuts/+bug/1170647/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
