Thanks for getting back to me, Robie. I'm hoping the bconsole issue won't affect me unless there are side effects that I don't understand to that one. I don't use bconsole. I use bat which may or may not have the same problem but, even if it does, my backup jobs are automated so I'm hoping that if the director starts running again it will start running the scheduled jobs.
