Public bug reported: revno 301 of maas-images caused regression in that the 'meph2-util' command will no longer run on jerff. The failure was due to the added dependency on python3-simplestreams. Jerff did not have that, and we'd like to avoid putting it there.
I'm going to revert that commit in maas-images, and modify the tox test to show the failure. We can add the support for this mirror back in later. I'm also attaching a workaround that does make the old code work, but I'd at least request some justification for the new code. ** Affects: maas-images Importance: Low Assignee: Blake Rouse (blake-rouse) Status: Confirmed ** Attachment added: "workaround to keep code at revno 301 working on jerff" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1589559/+attachment/4678241/+files/workaround-no-python3-distro-info.patch -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1589559 Title: re-add 'clean-unsupported' command to meph2-util To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/maas-images/+bug/1589559/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
