For the time being a rather crude workaround is: - boot to the live session - launch konsole and do 'sudo apt purge ubiquity-slideshow-kubuntu' - run installer as normal
Slideshow will not get invoked, so no need for PyQT5webkit, so no crash. There may well be a command line option for ubiquity to achieve the same, but I'm not aware of it if there is. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1593258 Title: 16.10 KDE Daily Ubiquity Crash To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubiquity/+bug/1593258/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
