Now that the old vmhgfs kernel module is deprecated there really should
be something akin to what arch has:

. They provide an adapter mount type "fuse.vmhgfs-fuse" which can
substitute for vmhgfs in the fstab. Potentially the default mount.vmhgfs
could even do that job making lots of old stuff just work again
(admittedly probably not a good idea until the fuse stuff actually works
reliably and even then it might still be a bad idea...).
