Petr: ad 1: Possibly yes ad 2: yes (I haven't seen anywhere the ISO for download) ad 3: i8kutils seems working, I've tried that. But yes, in case of wrong temp. setting you can damage your CPU/GPU, I'm using it as workaround but I am not satisfied (not sleeping very well) by using that.
