Here we go.

Started driver. Went into NetworkManager and selected connect to other
wireless network. Put in my SSID and WEP key. NetworkManager said Attempting
to join the wireless netowork 'HOME'...
NetworkManager asked me for my WEP key two more times, and I got bored of that.

dmesg:

[  362.757538] bcm43xx driver
[  362.757794] ACPI: PCI Interrupt 0000:0b:00.0[A] -> GSI 16 (level, low) ->
IRQ 16

[  361.069755] ADDRCONF(NETDEV_UP): eth0: link is not ready

[  481.588696] ADDRCONF(NETDEV_UP): eth0: link is not ready
[  553.542256] ADDRCONF(NETDEV_UP): eth0: link is not ready

More fun stuff: I went back to NetworkManager and told it to connect to Wired
network.
The NetworkManager is still spinning and saying Preparing device eth1 for the
wired network
as I type this bug report -- the wired network got a DHCP address and is
working perfectly.
