Hello, Same problem here.
In fact, I no longer run Trusty on bare metal ; instead, I run up-to- date 64bit Trusty userland in a chroot on up-to-date 64bit Yakkety. The game is playable, except for this exact same power jump sequence/combo. In hope this helps.
