Since 3.24 on Arch Linux I have also noticed that if one is to go into the AO and:
1. Shift-click to open an application without leaving the AO, or use a keyboard shortcut in order not to have to go back into the AO but to stay in it. 2. Before the window for the application appears in the view click and drag and carry on holding any window in the AO. 3. Release the window when the new one comes up. If you follow the above steps then you should see something like this: Overlapping_Windows_In_AO.png And if you do the above, but instead of opening a new window, you are to click the "x" button on and then quickly click and drag a window you will either find that the same thing happens, or a large gap is left like here: Gap_Left_In_AO.png ** Changed in: gnome-shell (Ubuntu) Status: New => Confirmed ** Changed in: ubuntu-gnome Status: New => Confirmed -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1653153 Title: Windows not always drawn in correct places in AO when under Wayland To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/gnome-shell/+bug/1653153/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
