Public bug reported: I have a Sierra EM7345 LTE modem in a Lenovo T450s.
On boot mbim-proxy is using 100% cpu and the modem will not move to the connected state. I have to kill the mbim-proxy process to stop it using CPU, and I can't get the modem to connect at all. These bugs are probably related: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=100938 https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=101275 The problem also occurs with Ubuntu 17.04 run from a live USB stick. I've used this exact hardware with several previous installs of Ubuntu and never had this problem.
