Public bug reported: I'm a very unskilled user of Ubuntu 17.10. I have no idea why this is happening and cannot positively state that what is happening is a "bug". I was automatically brought to this page by the reporting system.
I'm using Ubuntu 17.10 on a Dell E6500 Latitude (yes, it's old) with 4Gb RAM. I don't have enough understanding to know what to ask so if anyone can be of help in getting the needed information to figure this out, I'd be very grateful.
