Same issue with Lenovo T470 running Ubuntu Gnome 16.04.3 Hibernate works fine with 4.10.0-42-generic Broken in 4.13.0-31.34~16.04.1 Had to point the grub to use 4.10.0-42-generic for fixing the issue.
