I experience the same problem. An oocalc-2.2 file with default cell heights 
opens with
much larger default cell heights (0.17" versus 0.22") when using oocalc-2.3 
(Ubuntu-7.10).
Also the charts have wrong fonts but giving them focus (double-click) restores 
the correct fonts
(a weird effect actually).
Also the included pictures are vertically distorted (longer than in oocalc on 
Ubuntu 7.04).

The document is included.
