Hello Joseph, I purchased the laptop recently and installed Ubuntu on it; hence I am not aware how this model worked on Ubuntu before. I tried installing latest kernel but got the attached error during installation. Moreover the system does not let me know and gave errors while reboot. I will try to attach both the errors during the installation and also the photo of the error during the reboot after the kernel installation.
