When I run dpkg -l | grep ntfs-3g ii libntfs-3g88 1:2017.3.23-2 amd64 read/write NTFS driver for FUSE (runtime library) ii ntfs-3g 1:2017.3.23-2 amd64 read/write NTFS driver for FUSE I get the following which agrees with your results. However when I run man mkntfs it does not show -Q as a valid option. It does show -q for quiet. My version is mkntfs --version mkntfs (Jul 6 2018 17:52:56) UFSD Paragon Software Group Apparently the Paragon Software has replaced the standard command. If the Paragon Software actually worked on my system, I would use it. However it does not work.
