yes, this issue start happening after an upgrade, the problem was not present with installation from some old ISO and happen with all installations from recent ISO. see also a similar bug for a different distribution: https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/59175. will try to test the latest upstream kernel but i'm not an expert...
