@Marcos,#80: ubuntu-18.04-server-amd64.iso is exactly the ISO I'm using for my installations.
@Mathieu,#82: you've removed the verification-failed-bionic tag but 0.40.1~18.04.2 is still not working on my side, both on VirtualBox VM and on Proxmox VM (KDE). Interface renaming works but IP address/netmask doesn't. I'm using ubuntu-18.04-server-amd64.iso to install both of them, and they both have the same issue. PS: I actually have a production server VM witn netplan-0.40.1~18.04.2 and, after reboot, I need to connect to it (thanks to Proxmox HTTP-VNC console) and manually execute "netplan apply" to bring the network up. This is unaccetable so I'll soon remove netplan and switch back to the rock solid ifupdown for such a simple newtork configuration like mine. Sorry to say that netplan brought me nothing but issues... -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1770082 Title: systemd-networkd not renaming devices on boot To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/netplan/+bug/1770082/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
