Also removed snapd. I cannot believe this is still a thing after almost 3 years of this bug being reported. I troubles me very much, that the devs do not seem to take this issue seriously (enough). I hope developers are going to reconsider putting everything in .snap.
I really don't understand why one should put user data in the snap directory. What if I have a project that uses snap AppFoo and AppBar? Then I will find my files in ~/snap/AppFoo/data and ~/snap/AppBar/data instead of together in ~/MyProject? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1575053 Title: Please move the "$HOME/snap" directory to a less obtrusive location To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/snapd/+bug/1575053/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
