I was not clear about the lifecycle of 16.04 and 14.04. :-) AFAIK, there is no real need to fix the bug for 14.04. And I understand it looks there won't be a 16.04.7, either.
Since the bug is already fixed in 18.04 (and newer? I didn't check 19.xx), it looks to me we can leave it as is for 16.04 and 14.04, and mark the bug as WON'T FIX, if there is nothing we can really do for 16.04 and 14.04. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1826453 Title: Grub2 Booting in blind mode due to "invalid video mode specification `text'" To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/grub2/+bug/1826453/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
