Hi, I have very similar problem with bcm43xx wifi. My network-manager randomly drops connection and can't connect again. When I choose my AP manually from the list, only bottom point is green, and after long time it asks me about password. Sometimes rmmod bcm43xx and loading module again helps, but the best solution is to reboot my laptop. I have fully updated ubuntu 7.10. I attach syslog.
