I can confirm this bug. I am using gutsy, nvidia graphics with restricted drivers and compiz enabled.
Steps to reproduce: 1. Login as user A 2. System->Quit->Switch User 3. Login as user B 4. System->Quit->Switch User 5. Relogin an user A The screen goes white and get inresponsive.
