Public bug reported: This happens so frequently by now that Thunar is becoming almost unusable for browsing memory cards. One particularly surefire way to crash Thunar is to unmount a memory card with some application still accessing it. Thunar pops up a notification that an application is still accessing it, one closes the application, then right-clicks on the media in the file tree display to check whether the current state is mounted or unmounted (the menu should then offer the opposite).
This crash here, however, just happened while using an image editor from within Thunar. Exiting the editor likely left another saved file on the memory card. Thunar crashed just spontaneously at some time while editing was in progress or right afterwards.
