Public bug reported:
Synaptic has a bad habit of popping up informational dialog boxes which
are too tall for the screen, thus the buttons at the bottom are not
visible. It sizes the box much too tall for the amount of text to be
displayed. One cannot reduce the height of the dialog box... its height
seems to be fixed.
The only option available to get past this dialog box is to push the
corner X to close the dialog.
