So you put the options snd-hda-intel dmic_detect=0, right? And
5.0.0-43-generic will fix all audio issues, and the sof driver will work
and don't need to add dmic_detect=0 anymore.


And with 5.0.0-42-generic, I added dmic_detect=0 too and tried to reproduced 
your problem, but I couldn't reproduce the problem, the machine suspend/resume 
for 3 times successfully.
