Public bug reported: I'm upgrading from Bionic to Focal LTS and ocsinventory-agent is going to be upgraded from 2.0.5-1.2 to 2.4.2-3.
So, I'm on 2.4.2-3. The variable OSNAME was changed from <OSNAME>Ubuntu 18.04.4 LTS</OSNAME> to <OSNAME>Ubuntu</OSNAME> in 20.04 LTS. Since 14.04 OSNAME was being reported with release details. I've found that this already happened in older versions, may be something with LSB module. Is that an intended change or something is wrong? Tks! ** Affects: ocsinventory-agent (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1878459 Title: OSNAME reported as just "Ubuntu" without release details To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ocsinventory-agent/+bug/1878459/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
