@Ferenc: Hello, can you please help me with this line: #!/bin/sh sed -i -E 's/^(\s+initrd\s+)(.*)$/\1\/acpi_fixed.cpio \2/g' /boot/grub/grub.cfg.new
WHat do I need to copy here, because most of the time you use # as a prefix for terminal, but here i don't know is it a comment or should I leave it exactley as it is. Also are these 2 lines or 2 line. Im getting a boot error that this acpi file cannot be found and then 'cannot open root device' afterwards so I know that i'm doing something wrong.Guess this line is the problem, thank you so much for your help you saved us. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1861610 Title: 'Elan touchpad' not detected on 'Lenovo ThinkBook 15 IIL' To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1861610/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
