Reproduced on the test kernel? The one that I built in the ppa? If that's the case, then "usb: handle warm-reset port requests on hub resume" might not be to blame after all. I had a look at your kernel log: > usb usb4-port2: Cannot enable. Maybe the USB cable is bad? The bad device is usb4-port2 in your system. The log's don't show what device this is.
