Your USB problem is unrelated to the issue in this bug, since your USB
device fails to do the initial handshake and enumeration.

Try shutting your computer down, unplug the power supply, let it rest
for 10 minutes and then try again. If you still have issues, try the USB
device on another computer to see if it works, and if it does, then file
a new bug report.

Some users have had success when they enabled IOMMU in the system BIOS /
EFI shell.
