Hello Eko, my guess is the process that had the debconf database locked was asking you to enroll a new secure boot key. By killing it rather than configuring a key, you can't install self-built kernel modules.
I suggest looking at the "Manual Method" section of https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UEFI/SecureBoot/DKMS Thanks -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1890223 Title: No Wi-Fi Adapter Found Ubuntu 20.04 after updated Linux kernel to version 5.4.0-42-generic To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1890223/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
