GizmoChicken, I apologize for my post. Wanted to delete it but cannot figure out how.
Was just so frustrated in the moment about the non-communication about progress and that Canonical decided to push snap in the current state, even though they participated from the beginning in this thread and are fully aware that they are putting a visible directory right in the user home directory that cannot be moved/renamed. I try to be hopeful, but sometimes it is getting so difficult. Was so hyped about comment #259. Maybe I am just not familiar enough with the process. Do you know where this design document was published? Just anxious that there is no progress and it was just an empty announcement. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1575053 Title: Please move the "$HOME/snap" directory to a less obtrusive location To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/snapd/+bug/1575053/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
