I think it's not what I want to do, mainline and proposed kernels are not the same thing (I think). I would like to install fix to the same kernel version that I'm runing or anything else to avoid problems with nvidia driver on mainline kernel releses. I already reinstalled everything 3 times tampering with this bug and would love not to do it again because I've setup a lot of stuf and dont want to do it again. For now I'm using i2c_standalone workaround but it's not running flawlessly (frequently stucks in scrolling mode or taps stops working...) so I want to test proposed solution.
