The fix from mohamed-badaoui is working as expected for me & I have no problems with Firefox @magellan-2000
The only incapability I noticed (I haven't read through all of these comments so I apologize if this is a repeat) is that once the numpad is enabled the regular track-pad function is disabled until the numpad is once again disabled. Not a big deal at all, just something I noticed.. On Windows the trackpad distinguishes between regular mouse/pointer use and numpad clicking when the numpad is active so you don't have to turn it on & off multiple times.
